Quick outfit post of what I’m wearing tonight to go out to eat to Blockheads!
I’ll regret it when I’m extremely full in this midi dress. I’m also wearing my clef clutch for the first time! It’s very fitting I think with this midi.
I hope you’ve all been having an amazing summer! I’ve been a little disconnected but that is because I’ve been going around pretty much working every single day. I am a receptionist at a spa and trust me it is not as easy as it sounds. However today is my day off and I wanted to show you a little bit of what I was wearing yesterday because I thought it was a little twist to the usual “bright clothing-dark shoe” combo that I see pretty much everyone doing. I did a “dark clothing-bright shoe” and got a lot of compliments by the people around me.
The reason I was so intrigued by making this combination is because I think it gave a fresh new feel to summer and not having to stick to these pastel colors. I think the shoe is the star of the outfit and that’s something we don’t see too often nowadays (I’m clearly shoe obsessed!) Hello fellow readers,
I know I’ve been a little out of touch lately but I’m here to update you on a couple events that have been going on in my life and just snippets of what I wear to get through the week. Like I’ve mentioned before, I’m not going to dress up more that I normally do just for a blog, I’m going to realistically let you know my style, my life choices, and what I do to be… me *insert emoji here* I normally always take pictures right before leaving the house in my infamous room mirror but this week I didn’t so I’ll tell you more about how I got through the weekend, etc.
I went to the UABBQ, actually a lot of fun. No pictures, but I wore a mix-matching bathing suit from H&M. I wore a gray halter top with a floral print bottom and to go out at night I wore a black loose halter top from Brandy Melville, studded and bleached high waisted shorts from a thrift store, and my handy-dandy beige Steve Madden sandals.
Sunday was a special day because I went to the Red Sox and Yankee game here in the Bronx with my boyfriend. I got those tickets as a Valentine’s Day Gift for him and ironically, the Red Sox ACTUALLY won. The horror to all us spiteful Yankee Fans. However, it was a fun day for both me and Michael. For the game, I obviously wore some gear. So I got through the day in a Yankee cap, a Jeter Jersey, and jeans with sandals.
Monday was a beach day with my brother, my boyfriend and his family. Calm and relaxing. Not much of an outfit picture to take but I’ll post some cute selfies with two of my favorite people. :)
I worked, how amazing. But I got to snap a selfie right before leaving. I’m wearing a J.Crew Denim shirt, patterned pink and black and beige shorts from Brandy Melville and my Steve Madden Sandals.
Today, I’m bummin’ it out in my comfiest of clothes. I’m wearing my most comfortable pair of jeans, my boyfriend jeans. A cut-out shirt from Brandy Melville (clearly I have on too much clothes from my old job!) and I’m wearing my checkered Vans. I had the most comfortable ride to work this morning and felt completely relaxed although a little hot. The weather is finally kicking up, Thank you Baby Jesus!
Hi my little lovely readers,
I’m writing my review on the coveted contour kit by Anastasia Beverly Hills!
I adore it! WORTH THE INVESTMENT!
The contour kit has such great colors, compatible with all kinds of skin and I find that the colors blend wonderfully. They don’t leave harsh lines and I think that is crucial when contouring. I also really enjoyed how natural it made me look. I do wish it was a little cheaper but I think sometimes investing in good makeup is worth it. I’ve included below a picture of the actual kit and I’m not quite sure if Sephora still has them but they sell out so quick! I had to call and put mine on hold at a random location so call check it out! Later on I’ll be posting some of the contouring I do on myself using the kit.
*ALWAYS MAKE SURE TO MOISTURIZE AND USE FOUNDATION AND CONCEALER PRIOR TO USING*
Before my little date night with my boyfriend, I thought I would update you guys on my outfit for the night. I’m wearing my H&M boyfriend jeans I previously spoke about, my Sam Edelman Slip on sandals (find them here!) and a necessary clothing long crop top in black. My bag is from Bebe (bought ages ago) and my bracelet from H&M (also not mine hehe). Please let me know any thoughts!
